This past Valentines was a bust, and both Mr. Glitter Tart and I had plans to make it quite romantic, and if not that at least kid free.
A few weeks ago when I started working on pieces for Alpha Stamps, I put this little ATC book together. When Mr. Glitter Tart saw it he said "that is the best valentine creation you have ever made."
Well that settled it, this was Mr. Glitter Tart's Valentine gift. Would you believe it that he has a box of cards and post it notes and little things I gave him dating back close to 15 years now!
But here is where things started to go wrong. We went on vacation over Valentines, and I forgot to pack his gift.
But even more disconcerting, I am sick as a dog. We got there and I didn't even make it to the condo without having to pull the car over, spent three days in bed and finally went to the Doctor where they gave me something for the nausea and dizziness that is still plaguing me.
Mr. Glitter Tart was going to take me to Dinner at a really nice restaurant. I ended up eating plane rice and chicken. Not romantic.
Almost everything I used on this ATC book is from Alpha Stamps. And if you hurry some of the items can be found on the sale page!
I haven't given Mr. Glitter Tart the gift yet. I think I am going to ask for a do over and pretend Valentines day is on a different day entirely this year.
I hope you have a wonderful Valentines day!

In some ways, a different day is a little more special. My husband was in the hospital recovering from major surgery. He came home on Valentines Day. Neither of us thought about the day at all. And, I didn't even remember to send off anything to my daughter since I was going to the hospital in the morning, rushing to work, heading back to the hospital, and repeating daily. I told my daughter that I would send her something special next week when I can leave dad at home alone.
Hope your "do over" is wonderful.
